Trust Me..

There will always be a time when someone needs some encouraging words to make them feel okay and to reassure them. A time when I had to convince someone was my cousin. She was debating whether or not to play softball again. I told her that she needs to do what makes her happy and something that she enjoys. She said she was worried about being the only freshman on the team and worried about criticism. I told her that she cannot let other people get to her and if they ever did to just brush it off. She took my advice. But, she said it was awkward for her being the only freshman and hardworking player. So I said it is a good thing that you are different and hardworking and it shows that she really cared about playing softball. This advice worked the best. After all this negativity she decided to play softball and made the JV and varsity team for her school. I told her that working hard pays off and she knew it. In the end, she got a positive outcome and she still thanks me to this day for my encouragement.
